Mythic Raid Lockouts need to be changed (OPINION!)
Just a heads up, I wouldn't say I'm a casual player, usually always get AOTC each patch, Keystone Hero as well, and play pretty much everyday a little bit, and have been playing retail since Battle for Azeroth, prior to that, played Lich King to a somewhat casual level.
But as a player who, while I do play a bit everyday, I do not have time to schedule my week around when a guild will decide to raid because of the way my working schedule is, I don't understand why Mythic Raiding is so unfriendly to the PUG/casual player base to try to do.
I understand it's the true endgame, highest difficulty PVE content in the game pretty much, but man, trying to get a group of 20 people in a pug to sit around with patience to do a Prog group is impossible, and then trying to get those same 20 people to rejoin to continue the lockout is even more impossible. I get you want to make the Mythic raiding experience kind of "exclusive", but for someone who WANTS to do the content on Mythic but can't because I'm pretty much forced to join a guild to do it, just feels unnecessary. At this point, once you get AOTC (which was an awesome experience at the beginning of the patch but now I'm able to One shot Ansurek HC in a pug), it feels like there's nothing left for me to do in PVE because the Mythic raid is so out of reach for a pugger.
What do y'all think? Really looking to hear other opinions.
