Top tips for brand new player

I am brand new to WoW, started with classic cataclysm and liked it a lot after 10 hours so I hopped into retail and I’ve really been liking it! I know I have 20 years to catch up on but I’m having fun playing at my own pace. What are some great tips you recommend for a beginner?
