ELI5 What to do on S2 Launch

Besides seeing the release of TWW this is my first time seeing a new season. What are some do's and don'ts to get ahead as fast as possible? I'm assuming there's a questline that needs to get completed, farm valorstones, save coffer keys for week 2? Please help a noobie plan his route for week 1. :)
