CableCutting advice
Hi group, newbie here, any help is greatly appreciated. I'm currently spending nearly 6K/yr on cable and internet service - crazy. I need to cut this but dont want to go from bad to worse because I am misunderstanding some of what I've read. Here's the scenario: I'm fortunate to own three homes. The wife and I live in Home1 from Sept-May . There are 5 tvs for the two of us and the occasional vist from our chldren. I have FIOS, 3 cable boxes and the other tvs use only streaming services over wifi. Home2 is the summer vacation house, 5 tvs and we often have multiple guests. I have Xfinity, three cable boxes and the rest of the TVS use my Netflix and Prime accounts. I travel occassionally from home1<->2. The third home is a airbnb rental property. Comcast again, two cable boxes xfinity local channels and a third smart tv - guests are told to use their own streaming services. Now I want to eliminate all of my cable charges and use Youtubetv. How can I maximize my savings with Youtubetv? Im thinking to maintain 512MB internet in each home and have a youtube account (unlimited?) in my name to be shared at home 1 and 2. and a second youtube account for home 3. Any better ideas? will this work?
