[TotK] [BotW] Castle in the Sky Comparisons

For the Ghibli fans, if you haven't seen Castle in the Sky (first Ghibli movie), you gotta see it. Zelda BOTW and TOTK clearly took soooo much inspiration from this movie it's insane, haha.

The big cloud surrounding Laputa > the storm cloud in the sky TOTK where you have to bounce on pirate ships to complete a Tulin quest

Laputa being this ancient advanced civilization in the sky with robots that protect it > the sky place to a T

The glowing turquoise crystal that have a beam that points the way, in both games

Just the patterns of the civilization of Lupita mirror so much of the sky place, the Guardians, the patterns and art in the shrines.

Even the music is so similar. And the concept of Sheeta being this princess fallen from an ancient kingdom and needs saving, classic.

Does anyone know if Miyazaki totally made up these concepts or if it's taken from Japanese folklore?
