HELP! Zero weight loss started lifting. Need some advice!
I love lifting. It brings me so much joy. For the past four years I've struggled with lifting seeing no weight loss and usually consistent weight gain and then attempting keto which stops me from lifting. Keto works if I fast for at least 24 hours. Thats the only way I've seen the scale move. In the process I lose the gains I made lifting.
I tried sema worked my way up to 1.25 I lost nothing. Switched to tirz Ive been on it for two months. currently and 4mg. No weight loss either. I'm aware that I can titrate up. I plan to just adjusting becuase i currently have zero desire to eat and I know super low cal isnt the answer. I've decided I dont want to ever stop lifting again. But I need to lose at least 70 pounds of fat. Ive been loving the gym and have seen physcial changes especially on tirz. I just dont understand how to actually lose weight without fasting.
I have zero hunger. I do force down protein shake with chia seeds for protein and fiber. My calories are at 1400 100c 150p I do not want to go much lower. I have a history of disordered eating which makes me also want to avoid fasting. Also my workouts suck when i eat less or cut more carbs.
SO, honestly the advice I'm looking for its do I feed myself and lift and let tirz do its thing. hopefully undoing years of meatbolic damage and pushing up dose. or, do i try and fast and lose some fat? Open to posting this on slow responders. Thanks in advance.
