Unfortunately (for those who care), the Potara statement in Daima is 100% a retcon of a retcon. In the DBS manga, Shin brings up Buu's air and even disproves it. In the DBS anime, after Gowasu tells Goku about why Vegetto defused in the Buu arc, Shin doesn't object to the statement whatsoever.
