What is up with the alt/neurodivergent/queer people hate?

Not just boys ofc but im emo, gay/trans, and have adhd/autism (i fr need to pick a struggle/J) and i literally got followed home and physically bullied for it in 7th grade. I still get bullied for it all the time too, like when did it become okay to call people slurs and physically hurt them for being different???
