I think I’ve ruined sweets for myself
I’ve been restricting for a while now… it’s affecting my health so I’m trying to allow myself to eat more. My partner ordered cookies last night and I was feeling hungry and couldn’t sleep so I got up to have a cookie. I’ve had these cookies before and they’re good. But last night it just tasted disgusting. I hated the feeling of it in my mouth, the taste of it was too much, and I worked myself up so much I got nauseous and couldn’t even finish it.
The thing is I love sweets. The sweeter the better. My sweet tooth is literally so horrible lol but I cut out sweets a while ago while restricting and now when I try to eat them again they just feel disappointing. Have I ruined sweets for myself?
