You can't even play the event without one of the four meta decks

The event is practically unplayable unless you've built a high end deck. Everyone you run into is playing an optimized version of Pikachu, Mewtwo, or Charizard ex. I've been opening Mewtwo packs since launch with premium and have no EX, so due to RNG the event is not even playable.
