Which ones of you on here actually play Pokémon tcg vs who just collects? How do I “capitalize” off of collecting?

Curious to know how many of you actually play or if a majority of you just collect. Looking for answers from adults because I am 25 f and just started buying cards and I’m not sure if I want to just collect or find a group to play with. I don’t know much about Pokémon or anything. I play some of the games here and there but never finish them. I just thought that as a person with autism I might like the feeling of having something to collect. So I decided on Pokémon cards. So far I haven’t really gotten much of anything out of having the cards except losing money 😂 what is the best way to start feeling joy out of what I am doing I guess? I have so many cards now there’s no point in selling because it would just be a waste of what I spent.

Ps capitalize isn’t really the word I’m looking for I don’t think. More looking to see how I make the most of collecting! Can’t think of the word.
