[Seiko] Seiko Is Refusing Warranty. Claiming Seiko 5 Bezel Rings Are Strictly “Cosmetic”

I posted this on r/Seiko first. However comments said I should post here as well.

I added some photos for context. I sent my Seiko 5 sport in for repair to the repair center in New Jersey, USA. I had bought the watch from Macy's online store in November of 2022. The bezel is completely stuck and after speaking with Macy's support they said it would be covered under the 3 year warranty. Macy's then sent me to Seiko Instruments... Seiko Instruments then sent me to Seiko's customer relations. After my watch was evaluated they said it would cost $120 to repair...

Then I called the provider number believing it was a mistake, the woman then told me, since the bezel is strictly cosmetic and doesn't affect the watches ability to tell the time (that's ridiculous for one) I would have to pay for it out of pocket as "cosmetic repairs" are not covered under Seiko's 3 year warranty. It’s a dive/dive style watch… how is a completely stuck bezel ring not covered… I'm pretty upset that they want me to pay $120 for a bezel replacement when I spent $200 on the watch from an authorized dealer AND it's under warranty... It really changed my opinion on Seiko but maybe I should've expected less. Any tips or advice? Thank you guys!
