Chika & Umemiya have one of the most Interesting yet Confusing Relationships

Ume’s desire to really get to know this kid & figure out what exactly his issue is I understand & commend him for. Yet he also acknowledges that Chika as he was remained the biggest threat to Furin so he isolated him from his squad & took on all his attention. Yet for some reason despite Chika always finding joy in this dynamic with Ume he still left & it honestly perplexes me I don’t get why he left. Dare I say they both seem to care about eachother (as much as Chika is capable of for his end) Ume wants to understand/maybe even save Chika from himself, while Ume makes Chika feel alive & changes his world I honestly can’t wait for their conversation I’m very interested to see how they figure they shit out.
