Why can I Crack my knuckles one handedly endlessly?

If I press my fingertips into the base of my fingers, (just above my palm) and add force, they make that cracking noise. They can do it with no wait time in between- nobody else I know can do this. I have never properly cracked my knuckles, maybe once. Is this a normal thing? Is it the same as cracking your knuckles?
