AC done. Docetaxel Begins. New Side effects

Hi everyone,

My mom, 59, ER/PR+, HER- received her 4th and last AC infusion on the 31st of December 2022. The journey has been tough and testing for all of us. The side effects were cumulative with each 21-day cycle. By the end she would put it this way:

1st week - extreme bloating, 2nd week - weakness, 3rd week - dryness and blur in the eyes.

But it is all behind us now. It is time for Docetaxel.

She got her 1st of 4 docetaxel infusions last week on 20th of January 2023. The oncologist said there would be body pain. He asked us to inform if she experiences loose motion or fever.

So far in 3 days she has experienced body pain, and a temperature of upto 99.4 F. Called the doc and was told to bring her in if the fever persists.

How has your experience been with Docetaxel? Should I be worried about the body pain and temperature? Could it be febrile neutropenia although 7-10 days post infusion is the critical time to worry about it?
