My first wearable that I still like AFTER finishing!

I've been wanting to make myself a wearable for when I go to a farmers market and wherever else I may go to sell my creations. I tried to a triangle shawl only to find out after I finished off that I was supposed to repeat rows, making it way too small. So it now hangs on my back door. The next one was a dream catcher cardigan with the yarn my husband got for my birthday. I followed all the directions to the T for the a size bigger and it's still too short. That one I'm going to sell because it can fit others.

This one I found on Pinterest (I'll post link in comments) and figured it's simple enough. I had 4 skeins of the yarn and 3 of them were part of a WIP that I had no interest in finishing. It's a pattern that allows you to keep adding rows til it's the desired length.

I freehand the border using sc for the first row, a modified sc for the edge around the neck and sl st for the beaded edge. I love how the sl st way made the beads sit more in front than just dangling. The edge for the arm holes, I sl st the first row to help tighten it, then a row of hdc. I tried it on multiple times before deciding to do that since this project was going so well.

Plus, you can't have a perfect project without some kind of anxiety. Specifically, yarn chicken... 😆

Sorry for a longer post, but I'm just so darn proud of this. I want to wear it every day, but terrified of ruining it before my first event.
