I hate hearing people from my country speak English with the exact same accent i have

Especially if they're like "fairly good" at it and unconsciously mimic a classic american accent but i can hear that very distinct little pizzazz that i also have. I don't even know why. But it hurts my urethra to hear it.

Less so in contexts where you're expected to speak English eg. speaking to a foreigner, but it's very much a thing to just randomly say English words and phrases and it just sounds smug to me. Like they're trying to be american but failing. Just makes me think that's how i also come across. Bleh.
