how to back-test?

My EURUSD trade i took today, Even though it is a winner trade strange thing happened which is some kind of short period market volatility or a big news hit. my question is what do you guys do when a big news is about to hit and you have a open position in the market?

Took 85 trades this month & only 15 real winners.

What did I do wrong?

My lose that I get form EURUSD currency pair. Even though I have made all the necessary analysis on higher time frame, I get liquidity by the market. This currency pair has been bearish for quit some time. what do you think about my trade? what can I do better to get consistence profit?
