Haha I had the same thoughts about our boy, he was born at 6lbs 15oz and at 8 weeks he’s about 12.5lbs lol, eating all the time but definitely normal.

You shouldn't have to change the diaper at night unless there's poop. That disturbs their sleep even if they wake up to eat. Are you pointing the penis down when you put the diaper on? Make sure it's not pointing up. Also putting rash cream around penis helped. We always double diapered. We used Huggies little snugglers. Also make sure the diaper is above the belly button.

Try double diaper with the liner inside. That's what we do now.

We use auqaphor on his butt cheeks for redness, I wonder if that could mess anything up. Haven’t used on his penis or anything though.
